Sons Of Anarchy
‘Sons lose a son’
SAMCRO had been in diseray lately with major lies and
deception within the group. Opi arguably the Illegal Motorcycle groups most
loyal member after spending 5 years in jail for the gang was now seriously
considering his future after his wife Donna who mothered his two kids was
gunned down in an act of gang violence. Clay Morrow the President of SAMCRO had
ordered Tig his rough but forever loyal hand man to kill Opi as they believed he
was acting as an informant, however kills Donna by accident causing him and
Clay to hide a massive secret from the gang they love so dearly.
Today was the day SAMCRO was going to start fresh welcoming
Opi back in to the gang after the tragic passing of his wife Donna. A brisk yet
flawless morning in the small country town of Charming greeted the SAMCRO
riders as they rode in convoy to their headquarters that was disguised as panel
beaters to hide the illegal nature of the gang. The group rode with the usual
four at the front Piney on the left who was a part of the founding nine members
of the gang, his large and dominating figure combined with his countless
tattoos made him an intimidating biker but today he was full of emotion as his
son Opi was coming back to SAMCRO. In the middle was Jackson ‘jax’ Teller who’s
long blonde hair messily blew around under his old faded black helmet, Jax came
across as a clever and cunning biker and certainly deserved his title as Vice President
to Clay even though the two did not always see eye to eye. On the right sat the
gang’s hard man and enforcer Tig not afraid to pull the trigger on anyone and
his scarred and messed up face was proof of this, Tig also held the dark secret
of killing Opi’s wife. Up front sat Clay Morrow President of SAMCRO his grey
hair the sign of his experience and his constant smirk showing his arrogance
reminded all members that what he said was final.
As SAMCRO noisily raced into headquarters and parked up Tig
turned to Clay with a face that made him look like a vulnerable looking child
it was white with no emotion he slowly began to speak “I can’t hide this
anymore brother” the words dripped out slow and quiet. Knowing full well that
if this got out it would destroy his gang Clay turned to Tig with that arrogant
smirk he wore so well and confidentially said “if you care about us brother you
say nothing”.
As the final rattling of all the exhausts quietened down, a
tall bearded man came out of the meeting room it was Opi his presence brought
about cheers and whistles from the riders. As the SAMCRO riders all welcomed
and hugged Opi, Clay kept a close eye on Tig who wrapped his arms around Opi
both smiling at each other after the embrace. The riders slowly migrated to the
meeting room were Clay was going to welcome Opi back by presenting him his
jacket back. As Clay began to speak Tig was noticeably nervous and on edge,
Clay asked his final question “Does anyone object to Opi’s return?” the members
collectively loudly said no, the cheers and celebrations were shortly lived
when Tig’s voice interrupted proceedings “Opi you must know something before
you come back…. Something me and Clay haven’t been totally honest about” the
group all looked confused as each other as Tig finished speaking. “what are you
talking about Tig” said Opi with a edgy tone “time for a drink boys”
interrupted Clay “I KILLED DONNA OPI… I killed her I thought it was you im so
sorry opi” Tig weeped, the news was greeted with silence around the table as
everyone stared at Opi. Within seconds Opi had leaped across the table and
began to attack Tig the scuffle was quickly broken up from the other bikers, an
inside conflict like this had never been seen before in SAMCRO. Opi furious and
angry turned to Clay and fired the words “YOU ORDERED THIS DIDIN’T YOU…. DAMN
YOU IM OUT BROTHER” Opi snatched his jacket from Clay and marched out without
saying a word. What had meant to be a day of celebration for SAMCRO had now
been turned in to a complete disaster.
The group remained stunned and in silence as the sound of
Opi’s bike leaving brought even more sadness to the group. Riders remained
seated apart from Jax who went after Opi, Jax was Opi’s best friend and was as
angry as Opi was at the group. Jax set off for Opi and knew exactly where he
would be, the abandoned house 5 minutes out of Charming were they used to take
days off school to drink, smoke and tell stories. As Jax turned up Opi’s bike
was there, the run down deserted house was the perfect location to get away the
long unattended lawns a sign that this place hadn’t seen life in not years but
decades. Jax slowly walked in to the house and saw Opi sitting there with a
half empty Rum bottle “Brother I am sorry” said Jax “So I am” Opi replied
before taking another lengthy swig of of his quickly diminishing rum. Jax tried to talk Opi out of leaving the
group “it was an accident Opi , they love you brother”. Opi was now beginning
to cry as he reached for a full bottle of vodka “no more” jax said as he tried to
reach and grab the bottle from Opi “im not drinking it” Opi said as he opened
the bottle and started pouring it on the Sons Of Anarchy jacket that he used to
treasure more than his life. As the vodka bottle lay empty next to the jacket
that was soaked with the vodka Opi reached to the box of matches next to him,
Opi knew that if a member burnt the patch off his jacket then he was forever
out of the gang and a life of hiding was to follow. As Jax tried to get the
matches off Opi they both embraced and suddenly there was silence as both Jax
and Opi began to sob “im sorry Jax but this group killed Donna I must leave it”
Opi pulled away through a ignited match on the jacket, as it began to ignite
Jax looked at Opi and said “your my brother always” and reluctantly walked out.
Opi left the house with his jacket still alight pulled on his helmet and drove
off from charming were he would never return.
The Sons had lost a son.
